PJ's has been serving the Anchorage dart scene since 1969. Currently they are the number one dart sponsor in Alaska, sponsoring more teams, 72, and running more leagues in house than anyone else in the state. With over 21 boards they're always the first spot to go when looking for a game. They also have a large selection of dart supplies in house, and every Saturday night they run a Blind Draw tourney in which the house adds $200.
Check them out, and don't forget to try a Hallie Fart, Spenard's drink of choice!
Sometimes saying good-bye is hard to do, but the group over at PJ’s has figured out how to put the words “Get yer ass on the road” with a meaning to it. A special blind draw tournament this Friday (5/16/08) at 8:00 with the food starting around 7:00. Oh did I mention that there's $500.00 added?
I have to say, looking at the numbers, the teams are fairly close, and the only one that’s really pulled away form the pack is Money Pit but could still easily be caught when all the teams get their games caught up. Now I know I’m a bad, bad person, I was at the matches last night. Sorry, but the chance for a day off from darts sprung it’s head and I took it. Here’s how the matches played out.

Matches must be played before the next posted date. The machine has a League Playoff option that each player plays into. Any questions call Marcia @ Vend Alaska 522-1937. Please make arrangements with your opposing teams if a change has to be made.
The Board for Medalist at PJ’s met. I’m not certain that it was the board, but the decision deadline was in front of them. Present were Andrea, Kevin, Duane (I’m sure they are Board members), Marcia from Vend Alaska (operator), and Joseph, Margaret & Dupes (members). Diving into the discussion, we tackled the matter at hand. There’s not enough money to buy every one a trip to Las Vegas. After going over how much money is available, the costs of airfare and the amount of players, here’s what was decided.
I’m not sure why some people’s kids have problems with common courtesy, but it appears that even in darts it still runs through. Please, if for some reason, you’re going to be late, or need to reschedule a match, contact your opponents with enough time for them to make arrangements. If you’re running late, call the bar and let some one know, or better yet your teammates. To often have I seen people that strolled in late while every one is waiting for them or a complete team not show at all.
We dove into week 2, going in I knew about some folks being out of state. That team made arrangements and the other team was aware. Now the surprise, well, I actually don’t find it as a surprise, but The Boss failed to field a full team. No big surprise, just more of a pain than anything else. Now I have to track down the money envelope and the score sheet, blah blah blah. Anyways here’s how the matches played out.
So with the first ever PJ's Express Trios going into affect, the matches were played and every one got a feel for the newest format to hit the supreme dart bar in Alaska.
Money Pit started off the season against a dazed DD's Rodeo. I don't think Bill was aware the match was half over before he found his mark. Captain Simons for the Money Pit was missing in action, letting Hallie jump in and grab some games. So Matt, where were you? Anyways, the close match fell the way of Money Pit.
