The Summer NDA season isn’t slowing down yet, going into week 7 there’s still a lot of makeup games out there. I know the start of the season was strange (some people just don’t know when to sign up until after the season starts), and some teams just got back from the Las Vegas tournament, but we’ve hit that magic number of 10 games out there in limbo. Hard to believe that there's so many games out there that need to be played, but it's true and very possible. Games that aren't played hurt the league in many forms. The first way is the money from the match never gets into the league for payouts. Second, there no games being played, making the teams mis numbered as far as games played and what not. Third, stats, I don't think anything else needs to be said. Most importantly, the games not being played robs the bar of the people being there. Lots of people don't understand that their host bar actually pays a hefty bit of money to have them play. So let's get these games caught up and make this a season that every game is played.

Deadline to sign up for Thursday night NDA Summer Doubles is March 24, the season starts March 27. Last year we had a full league, let's see if this year will be the same.

NDA Summer Doubles is an open doubles league that's handicapped. You'll play 13 games total, 6 '01, 6 cricket, & one stacked '01 game. It costs $11.25 in quarters per team, plus the $5.00 a person league fee. Some of the bars that have participated in the past are PJ's, The O, Carps, Cabin Tavern, Club 210, Alaska Whaler, Kings X, and Avenue Bar. If your favorite bar isn't in the list, ask them why.
