Can you believe it's time for the 2nd annual Summer Solstice weighted blind draw at PJ's. Hallie hearing the summer was finally upon us tossed in a little extra to make the event a bash. $500.00 will be added, but don't think this is a normal blind draw. First it's weighted, so teams will be fairly even, no power teams! And the same as the last one, these won't be your normal events, they'll be fun, luck

Well, the State Open is over. I would like to extend a thanks to all the people who contributed their time before during and after the tournament. I was joking around that it takes a drunk village to hold a tournament. The reality is, without all the help in the form of people stepping up and acting as event coordinators, helping get the boards moved to the O and getting them set up, and then some of them broke down at the end, to just people willing to help run a quick message during the tournament.

The NDA Team play offs will be 2/23/08 with sign ups at 11:00am.

Our NDA Doubles Play Offs will be happening on 3/1/08 with sign-ups at 11:00am.

Bilikin & Triple Shot did not finish season, did not qualify and will not be playing in tournaments.

There will be a few qualifying events over the next couple of weeks in preparation for the Regional Masters shoot being held in conjunction with the Alaska State Open. The Regional masters shoot is scheduled for Friday, Feb 8th at Carpentier's. I plan to hold the first qualifier Saturday at Carpentier's at 2 pm. If there is enough interest, I will hold a second one on Sunday at Carpentier's. I plan to hold at least one the following weekend. I will be calling folks, at least those that I have a phone number for, to get folks to show up.

There's always a couple things you can count on with Alaska darts. One of the things is last minute time changes.

The ADO Cricket Regional playoff has been moved up. Friday November 23, sign ups at 10:00am, play starts at 11:00am.

Dean was telling me that there's 21 men qualified to shoot in this event and any one that wants to fork out the $110.00 bones is more than welcome to join in the fray.

The 2008 Cooper Landing Classic will be held on February 29th - March 2nd at the Sunrise Inn in Cooper Landing. There will be no ADO Regional Playoff that Friday afternoon.

This event has been great in the past. No where to go, but to hang out with the good people that shoot darts in the area. The food for the grill there is great and the hospitality of the staff is wonderful. If you've never done a tournament outside of Anchorage this is the one for you.
