The sign ups for Medalist is coming to an end. Here in the next couple days things will be wrapped up, so if you want to qualify to play in the tournaments that the Anchorage Soft Tip Dart Association is be holding in late July, you'll need to play this half to get your games in.

How many teams in what divisions?
Sun A Dbls (16-19/) has room for 3 more teams
Mon Novice Dbls (3-7/4) has room for 1 more team
Mon BBB Dbls (12-15/8) has room for 2 more teams
Tues B Sngls/Dbls (9-14/7) has room for 2 more teams
Weds A Trios (19-23/) is full
Thurs AK Novice Dbls (2-4/2) has room for 1 more

So there's still room to get involved if you're interested. Questions, feel free to email Dupes at aksilder@yahoo.com or contact Marcia at Vend Alaska.

The advantage of playing Medalist doubles over NDA Doubles is huge. First you'll notice you play within a division closely paired to your ability instead of a GROSS handicap. Giving you the chance to gain skill and confidence. 1st place in each division receives CASH ($25.00 per team in your division). Playoff payouts of 1st $200.00 and 2nd $100.00. Qualifying for Medalist World event and the Anchorage Soft Tip Dart Association local tournaments held in Anchorage with rather large payouts in EACH division. Last but not least, you may notice it or not, but an active board addressing issues that arise and giving the players a overall good playing experience.

If this sounds like something you may be interested in, come play some well organized darts.
