One Lonely Reader

OK, so I know I’m late getting this update out, and I probably would have just not done one at all; but I didn’t want to disappoint my one and only reader…..Chuck!

The final position round [0] of the year only produced one surprise. 4th place Buckaroo beat 3rd place Hideaway A and promptly dropped to 5th. As usual the number got them in the end. Hideaway A had 158 going into the position round versus Buckaroo’s 149. After Buckaroo beat Hideaway A 11 to 8, the Buck’s were sitting with 160 points and Hideaway A at 166. What dropped the Buck’s to 5th was Club Oasis.

Club O also started the night with 149 points, but beat Pioneer 14 to 5, which gave Club O 163 points and 4th place. The match had no real impact on Pioneer since they were locked in 6th place. I should also mention that this match produced the most high scores for the night: Chuck – 140, Kim – 135, Zack and Dave for Pioneer also had 140’s.

Hideaway C beat Hideaway B 11 – 8 and the Cabin beat Carpentiers 11 – 8.

So the play-offs begin and this is how it should work. The highest seeded team plays the lowest seeded team. The match is 2 out of 3, race to 10 points, losing team is out of the play-offs. This should continue each week until there is only one team standing. The first nights matches are:

1 – Carpentiers Vs 8 – Hideaway B – Match is at Carpentiers
2 – Cabin Tavern Vs 7 – Hideaway C – Match is at Cabin Tavern
3 – Hideaway A Vs 6 – Pioneer – Match is at Hideaway
4 – Club Oasis Vs 5 Buckaroo – Match is at Club O

Good luck to all teams and win or lose, please do not forget to call in the results.

Pat
