Hideaway A barley beat Buckaroo 10-9 this week. Ken for Buckaroo was the big gun, shooting a 140 in one of his matches along with a 111 to start another. For Hideaway, Jason had another good week also shooting a 140. Since this was Jason’s only high score, I am not sure if it was better or worse than last week – only one high score, but no three, and only 10 points.
Carpentiers won again, (so what else is new), beating Pioneer 14-5. Pioneer was led by John who shot a 140 and assisted by Dave with a 125, but apparently all Carpentier needed was a single high score of 115 from Freak to win the match. It will be interesting next week when the first place Carp’s plays the second place Hideaway A.
I am not sure what all happened during the Club O – Hideaway B match, since the only thing reported was the score of 12-7. There was one other thing, but I am not sure why Chuck wanted to know what I was wearing. Chuck, the New Years celebration is over – stay away from the happy juice!
Due to a lack of shooters, Hideaway C requested a postponement of their match with the Cabin Tavern. The make-up match will be held this coming Monday and I will report the scores in my next newsletter.
