I want to start by wishing everyone a Happy New Year and I hope all of you will be here with us at the end of the year. This may be a new year, but the darts scores called in seem a repeat of last year.

The Cabin started the year with the most wins, beating Hideaway B 15-4. However neither team had any high scores to report. The night was just full of “How was Christmas, Did you do anything for New Years” and so forth. What a wonderful way to start the year.

Buckaroo ran into Carpentiers and didn’t fare so well, losing 14-5. Here is another match that was pretty low key, with the only big darts being a High-on of 120 shot by RJ for Carpentiers.

Club O traveled to the Hideaway and went home with 12 points, beating Hideaway C 12-7. Chuck keep up his strong darts by shooting a 140, while Joleen for Hideaway answered with a 134. Mike did report someone else shooting a high score, unfortunately, I pressed the delete key instead of repeat, so I apologize to who was great that night.

For the second week in a row, Pioneer won 10-9 in a squeaker over Hideaway A. The 10-9 score would indicate a hard fought battle, but the only big darts reported was for the Hideaway. Rob shot a 137 and a 125, while Mike contributed with a 124. I know a win is a win and Pioneer is probably feeling pretty good, but they have to remember this is a point league not a match league and one point more than your opponent does not normally get you very far.
